Grade nine Patricia Marielle Moralde was adjudged the top scorer during the Philippine Science Olympiad National Eliminations last September 9, 2017 held at Pantukan, Compostela Valley. Also, Patricia Marielle Moralde together with Revien Rodriguez (Grade 9) and Anne Felize Padillo's (Grade 10) collated individual scores emerged the highest thus placing PSHS-SMC as the top school in the ranking. The team will compete in the national level come September 30, 2017 in Quezon City.
