- The Philippine Science High School Southern Mindanao Campus (PSHS-SMC),Davao City, through its Bids and Award Committee (BAC), intends to apply the sum of Five Million Pesos (P 5,000,000.00) as the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) for the Rehabilitation of Canteen Phase 2 (Rebidding). Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at the bid opening.
The budget for the above project shall be sourced from the 2018 General Appropriation Act (GAA) under Capital Outlay-Locally Funded Project for Calendar Year 2018 of Philippine Science High School Southern Mindanao Campus.
- The PSHS-SMC now invites bidders for the Rehabilitation of the Rehabilitation of the Canteen Phase 2. Completion of the work is required within Ninety (90)calendar days. Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II, Instruction to Bidders.
- Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.
Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least seventy-five percent (75%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines.
- Interested bidders may obtain further information from the PSHS-SMC BAC Secretariat and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested bidders August 31, 2018to September 24, 2018 from the address below and upon payment of the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest Guidelines issued by the GPPB, in the amount of Five Thousand Pesos (PhP 5,000.00).
It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) and the website of the Procuring Entity, provided that bidders shall pay the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids.
- The PSHS-SMC will hold a Pre-Bid Conferenceon September 10, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Executive Board Room, Administration Building, Philippine Science High School Southern Mindanao Campus, Sto. Niño, Tugbok District, Davao City, which shall be open only to all interested parties.
- Bids must be duly received by the BAC Secretariat at the address below on or before September 24, 2018 at1:00 PM. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 18.
Bid opening shall be on September 24, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Executive Board Room (EBR), 2nd Floor Administration Building, PSHS-SMC, Sto. Niño Tugbok District, Davao City. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted.
- The PSHS-SMCreserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
