opened the event with parade of tribus.  After the opening ceremony, the students and personnel were treated to magnificent bird show by Dr. Puentespina, the resident veterenarian of the resort.  In the afternoon, the students attended a lecture given by the Philippine Eagle Foundation (PEF) about the state of our Philippine eagles.  After the lecture, the students broke into their camps to participate in the most awaited amazing Race where they were expected to solve puzzles and finish challenges in different stations.

 

 

         

 

On the second day, the students, together with the teachers and school administrators, went to Barangay 76-A, Bucana, Davao City for a coastal clean-up and tree-planting as a concrete extension of the Sci-camp's theme on preserving critical ecosystem.

    

 

       Prior to the closing and awarding ceremony, the students were treated to the Sci-Awit and Himig ng Kalikasan contests.  This year's over-all champion is the tribu Lalahon Tamaraw.
