#FacetoFaceAgain: The Philippine Science High School Southern Mindanao Campus successfully passed the requirements set by the City Health Office (CHO), Davao City for the limited face-to-face learning method in secondary school. The campus has its pilot limited in-person (voluntary basis) classes with the Grade 12 scholars starting today, Tuesday, March 15, 2022.

The Grade 12 participants are fully vaccinated as verified and have complied with the required documents such as the signed parents' consent, medical clearance, and health declaration. Around 42 scholars attended the first day of in-person classes. They went through health checks. They were also required to wear a face mask at all times and to bring a health kit complete with sanitizer, an extra face mask, thermometer, medicine, etc. Prior to the in-person classes, the scholars had online meetings with the school heads and the Health Unit personnel who constantly reminded them to always observe social distancing and follow the health protocols.

The in-person classes are held only in the morning at the designated facilities like the Academic Building 2, auditorium, gymnasium, Chemistry, Research, and Computer Science Laboratories.

Likely, if things get even better and Covid-19 cases continue to plummet, Philippine Science High School Southern Mindanao Campus will resume regular in-person classes effective School Year 2022-2023 across all grade levels.
