To  provide teachers an overview on where  where they can anchor the school's niche,  key stakeholders were invited.  Undersecretary for National Development Policy and Planning, NEDA Central Office, Dr. Rosemarie G. Edillon, elaborated on the Philippine Development Agenda 2017 – 2022 which centered on Innovation for the Community, for the People.  Representatives from NEDA Region XI and DOST XI expounded on the specific research agenda of the Davao region.

    

 

           At the end of the two-day seminar, the teachers were able to draft the school's research program's vision, and came up with a list of research areas where they can finalize their niche from.

 

          Special Science Teacher Michael Casas served as the focal person for the campus' leg of this seminar, and Dr. Marie Christine Obusan, Assistant Professor of UP Diliman Institute of Biology, moderated the seminar.
